Rebekah Clinger-Prince, LICSW

Are you surprised by the rage you sometimes feel toward your kid?

Are you worried that you’re not a good mom or dad?

You love you child immensely but find yourself yelling in circumstances when they are not listening to you. Twice now you have taken them to the playground and they refuse to leave when it’s time. You ended up screaming at them to get in the car, causing other parents to pause with concern and feeling like a terrible parent.

  • You’re triggered by not being in control of your kid.

  • You feel ashamed of your reactions.

  • You feel guilty and worry that you are harming your kid long-term.

  • Your relationship with your spouse or co-parent is strained.

Working With Me

You will start to feel… more aware of your needs, be able to pause before responding and better manage your emotions. You will build greater self-compassion, feel less guilt, and gain more confidence in parenting.

Imagine 6 Months From Now…

You tell you kid it’s time to leave the playground and they refuse. Instead of losing your temper and screaming at them; you pause, step aside, practice some deep breathing, remind yourself that lots of parents struggle with this phase, and engage appropraitely with you kid, even bringing some humor in to lighten the situation.

Parents who are also healthcare workers are encourage to checkout how I offer support for healthcare workers experiencing compassion fatigue, burnout, and stress.
