Mindfulness-based Therapy
I approach therapy with the belief that you are the expert in your own life and healing. Our work together is collaborative. I will listen to your story—your values, your strengths, and your needs—and offer education, feedback, and practical tools to help you move forward with confidence.
Together, we will build coping skills to relieve immediate stress while also exploring the deeper themes and experiences shaping your current patterns. My goal is to help you create meaningful pathways toward healing and growth.
I work with several evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Activation (BA), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), self-compassion practices, and harm-reduction approaches to substance use. I tailor treatment to each individual and check in regularly to ensure the work we’re doing feels helpful and aligned with your goals.
Inclusive and Affirming Therapy
I strive to create a safe, supportive space where everyone can grow and heal. I recognize that my own identities and lived experiences may be different from yours, and I remain mindful of the ways power, privilege, and systemic inequities influence both individual well-being and the therapeutic relationship.
I am LGBTQIA+ aligned and committed to affirming all identities. I will support you in exploring who you are, advocating for your needs, and navigating healthcare systems that may not always feel accessible. I welcome your feedback about how our different identities and perspectives show up in the room—your voice is essential in making therapy a space that truly serves you.
